Clancy Rowe

(She / Her)

Clinical Psychologist

BPsych(Hons), MPsych(Clin), MAPS

Clancy is a Clinical Psychologist with 18 year's experience. She tends to be quite active in therapy,  offering reflections, practical strategies and support as you work towards your goals, and she approaches sessions with openness, humour, and compassion. Her work is informed by attachment and psychodynamic principles, which means insights from your past will help you move towards your goals and the relationship between you and the therapist is an important part of the process.

Clancy enjoys supporting adults with a broad range of illnesses and struggles. She has particular interests in anxiety, OCD, and the impacts of childhood trauma and cancer. She also enjoys helping people perform at their best under pressure. Clancy's main treatment modalities are CBT, Schema Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dignity Therapy are integrated where appropriate. â€‹

“What I enjoy most about working in psychology is the opportunity to listen to the unique stories that clients bring. Each individual has a rich narrative that shapes their experiences, and I find it incredibly rewarding to create a safe space for them to share. I love collaborating with clients to develop a comprehensive case formulation that connects their personal concerns to broader psychological concepts. This process deepens my understanding of their struggles and empowers them to see their issues in a new light. The combination of storytelling, collaboration, and targeted treatment truly makes my work fulfilling.”

Guillaume (pronounced Gyom) is a warm, friendly, and empathic Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar who is dedicated to supporting individuals through life's challenges and empowering them to create positive change. Guillaume works collaboratively to understand the full range of factors contributing to client's concerns and to develop a holistic treatment plan that aligns with their needs and goals. He is committed to providing a safe and inclusive space where people can feel heard and understood as they explore their concerns, gain insight, and develop practical strategies that promote personal growth, resilience, and lasting change.

Guillaume has experience providing care in community mental health services, private practice, and multidisciplinary teams. This has equipped him with a broad skill set and deep understanding of the challenges clients can face in accessing treatment. Guillaume's areas of focus include treatment of anxiety disorders; stress; depression; anger; body image concerns; unhelpful perfectionism; lifestyle, adjustment, and relationship difficulties; and LGBTQIA+ issues. He values evidence based treatment that is collaborative and adaptable to the needs of his clients. Guillaume's main treatment modalities are CBT, ACT, and Dialectal Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Guillaume holds a Bachelor of Counselling and Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Edith Cowan University, as well as a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from the Institute for Social Neuroscience.
